The Basics
Global profiles GlobalCORE with the Institution’s brand to ensure a consistent student experience. Institutions provide Global with ISIRs that are selected for verification and/or have a c-code. Students are directed to GlobalCORE via e-mail. After authenticating the student, GlobalCORE guides the student through the financial aid verification process and the specific c-codes that the student had on their ISIR. This process utilizes a tailored set of customized online forms for each c-code and allows students to upload supporting documentation (e.g., tax returns, proof of citizenship) which eliminates all paper and expedites the process. Students can scan documents from home, work, a campus scanner, or even upload a photo of the documents they took with their phone camera.
Once a student has submitted their documentation, Global will conduct a full compliance file review using our world-class compliance software and our team of file review specialists. Should Global determine a file is incomplete, an e-mail goes to the student with a message to return to our site (branded to the institution) where they see a custom message and instructions specific to what they need to do for their file to be re-reviewed and marked ‘complete’. Upon clearing the file, Global’s system sends an electronic update back to your student information system and the student, letting you know that the file is complete. Your staff has online access to view student status, images, reports, and notifications that were sent to the student.
